This blog is in memory of our beloved Border Collie Tippy who died on July 28th 2010. Every Sunday over the course of the next few months I will post memories and pictures of her life with us, both as a working farm dog, family pet, best friend and work mate.

I hope you don't think I'm going in there.

Last week I showed Tippy taking a swim at the seaside. As she got older she was less keen to venture in to the water. This week’s pictures show her content to watch Tommy slashing around, by the look on her face I get the impression she thought he needed to grow up.

  1. In these photos, Tippy looks like she has one ear up, the other tipped down. Was one of her ears always flopped down like that? I never noticed that before. Maybe it is just the camera angle.

I would love to knoe what was going on in Tippy's head during these photos. She has such expression in her face.

  2. Don't our elders always wish we'd grow up...*smile* She seems very contented to watch him, doesn't appear anxious or stressed! Maybe she was remembering her swim after the ball!

  3. What a beautiful doggie...and so smart, you can just see it in her look.

I can only imagine how you must miss her Rob.
